We are super eco-friendly and want your stay to be an experience in enjoying nature without bringing in lots of unnecessary extras and especially plastic...so here's a guide to how you stay here and honour the camp ethos and environment:

  • Only compostable plates and cutlery allowed (if you need them at all as we do provide crockery - and if you are hiring a caterer please let them know we have a no single-use plastic policy! All camping meadow waste will need to be gone from site when you leave

  • No glow sticks - we can't tell you how many discarded bits of glowing plastic have ended up in the grass or the bin and it's pants, so it's time to think more out of the box for your decor with something that doesn't trash the planet!

  • Only real petal confetti (that composts) is allowed and no candles or sky lanterns please

  • None of your own alcohol is to be taken into the warehouse licensed bar areas, unless dry-hiring for a party

  • Shoes are to be taken off in tents and all accommodation please - we recommend socks, slippers or other shoes, and obviously wellies!

  • The camp grounds and covered spaces need to be left clean, tidy and free of any trace of your stay, including waste, unwanted/leftover food, recycling, with washing up done, bbq cleaned, and no cigarette ends are left laying around, no smoking or any flames near or in any of the accommodation - thank you! Namaste

  • The little wren and family that live in the entrance to The Wren's Nest are lovingly looked upon but are left untouched to live alongside you!

  • Please use the fire safely and never throw any waste in the fire, never use flammable liquid to light a fire

  • We don't allow speakers in the camping meadow, please no loud partying in the meadow, especially after dark, please remember we are Leave No Trace and we Party Lightly on the Planet!
